Fusible web does dry out. Keep the unused portion of fusible web in a plastic zip bag to keep it fresh.

I use straw needles size 10 for appliqué. I like the extra length for needleturning.

I love 100wt silk for needle turn appliqué. You may also use bottomline thread for appliqué.
